The purpose of the game is to help David, the soccer player, get the golden ball. It is not at all as easy as it sounds. David must stay away from the current soccer balls at play. If a current ball touches him, he will lose a life. Now, the real fun starts, the current balls move in a set pattern, but their speeds differ, some of them run fast but some are slow, David must dodge them and make his way to the golden ball, he has to pick up a certain number of golden balls to move to the next level. As he picks up a golden ball, a new current ball appears on the field. So the game play at each level becomes harder as David takes up more golden balls.
There are certain barriers set up on the field, the barriers work as restrictions for the current balls to move, as a result, the current balls move within a smaller area making them more dangerous for David. To make the game more interesting there are mystery balls, David must move over them to claim them, but their effects can be both negative or positive. Some can make the enemies slower, while some can color the current balls so that David can pick them up but they can make the balls invisible.
The game play is uncomplicated, Players can move David, up and down, left and right with 2, 8, 4, 6 buttons. The game play has elements of soccer also. David can slide sideways with the combination of 1,3,7,9 and 2,4,6,8 buttons. The game screen is easy to interpret.
